Dukaten performs high-end guitar and pianoforte music - elegant, sophisticated, and cultured. A delight for the virtuoso music lover.

In 1815 virtuoso guitarist Mauro Giuliani found his match and performed original works with virtuoso pianist Johann Nepomuk Hummel in a series of chamber concerts in the botanical gardens of Schoenbrunn Palace in Vienna. These concerts were named the "Dukaten Concerte", after the price of the ticket, which was a single ducat coin.

Taking their name from these concert series, the Dukaten Duo, formed in 2017 by guitarist Deniz and pianist Dane, is an ensemble dedicated to reviving the guitar and fortepiano music of the 19th century and beyond. The duo aims to increase the prominence and accessibility of live classical music, bringing it to all members of the community.
